Carrie believes in a holistic, "whole body", balanced perspective and believes that massage therapy should be recognized for the effective healthcare complimentary treatment that it is, and should be designed around each individual client and their needs.

Carrie decided to become a massage therapist because she firmly believes that she is in control of her own destiny, and that, massage therapy as a career, is complimentary to her ability to manage life on her own terms. She has always had a strong desire to help others and to heal others, and decided, after 9 years working in Customer Service, she needed to be more hands on with her service to others. The deciding factor came when she was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, a chronic pain condition that has no known cure, and PTSD. She decided that she would not be a victim to her disabilities, but instead would confront them, and, in spite of them, live life to the fullest.

Carrie is also very active in the local D/FW roller derby community as an announcer affiliated with Dallas Derby Devils and Texas Men's Roller Derby, but will also assist with and travel to other leagues such as Assassination City, North Texas Derby Revolution, and Cowboy Capital Rollergirls, in addition to traveling to a variety of out of state tournaments, including the WFTDA Championships and the 2016 MRDA Championships.

When not working with clients to improve their health and wellness or on the road with a microphone, Carrie does canine obedience training based on availability, and developed a particularly strong love for bull breeds. She and her husband Steven currently reside outside of the D/FW metroplex with their three dogs, one cat, three horses, Boer goats, and chickens.
